I think that many know this and ignore much that is posted, due to that. I also like that PVP is voluntary.Īlthough the Steam community can be overly negative at times, and have to many pure Troll postings. I am also encouraged they went through steam and not Gameforge or the like. I am encouraged though, that they chose to do Buy to Play, with an optional subscription, as apposed to Pay to Win on steam. I think that would have made it necessary to release differently, and get some money incoming.
I would assume that the closing of Astellia in Korea, due to Nexon's Financial situation, was not in the plans for the Developers. it makes sense for a game to offer as many options for players to play as they like, if the cost of doing so is reasonable, and in the budget. That is, if the game has a male character model that is appealing to me, many do not. I tend to make a female char at first, then gender swap them later, if I end up making that my main character. I also think many men like to play female characters, as you see in the amount of streamers who do just that. I fall in that category many times, but have learned to change a bit through time.
I know what you mean by "how many do not". I am older too, and have played online games since 2000. Maybe they are planning on selling a gender switch potion in the future, that would be smart I think.
